As you know, if you are going to be an avid cheerleader, you really need to be able to tumble. They really do just go hand in hand! This year we are adding Cougar All-Star Cheer to our program to accommodate those students who would like to learn to be a cheerleader and tumble as well. This program will be overseen by a longtime student of ours, Soraia Pargali. (pronounced So-ry-uh). Soraia was a Chickasha cheerleader for many years, and is currently the Cheer Coach at USAO. Soraia has 3 small children of her own whom she hopes to get involved with tumbling and cheerleading. Her philosphy is to make cheerleading fun, while learning the proper techniques that will help you in the future. Cheerleading as a whole can become very expensive. Soraia shares our philosphy of keeping things more affordable so that more kids can afford to participate. This cheerleading program is for ages 4 thru 14. She hopes to keep the student/teacher ratio low so that the rate of learning is high. Classes will meet on Sunday afternoon with tumbling on another day of the week. We have known Soraia for a number of years, and are thrilled to have her working hand in hand with us. The first class will meet on Jan. 10th. For more info., call Soraia at 405-274-6948.
