Sooner Tumbling opened its' doors at 1227 S. 4th St. in Chickasha on January 4th, 1993. It is owned by Jim and Donna Stewart, and is still operated by them today. It is the longest running tumbling/gymnastics type program known to ever be in Chickasha. It was created out of the Stewart's love for the sport and love for kids. The Stewart's belief is that the more children participate in well-supervised healthy activities, the less likely they are to find things of their own to get into. It is their goal to be a positive Christian example on every child, as well as develop every child's God-given talents. Christian principles are taught through example in this program. Foul language is not allowed, and verbal abuse by anyone will not be tolerated. Coaches are there to teach, encourage, and lead by example. We are very selective about who coaches at Sooner Tumbling. We do not hire out of the newspaper or off of the street. We strive to hire from within from athletes who have been with us numerous years and have shown the qualities it takes to be responsible for teaching and molding young lives.
